Thoughts of a Trusting Teen


Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

“This verse is what keeps me going right now. There are circumstances in my life going on that I cant see ending well. I cant even comprehend how this situation will realistically end up ok.  Its in this moment that I must have faith. My human mind cannot grasp the eternal workings of the Lord. I know He has a plan and every day I beg Him to do more than I ask or imagine. Yes, I have moments of doubt. But my faith has grown enough that I can trust in the Lord continually. He has a plan to redeem this broken world, and if He wants to use me for His purposes then I am more than willing. My God loves without reservation, question, or hesitation. His power is unsurmountable. In the end, He wins! His power and Spirit reside in me, so that I may do His work here on earth. It is by the power of Christ alone that I am saved and forgiven. May I never keep the glory for myself, but always pass it on to the One who is the Giver of all things. I am dependent on the Lord in every situation. He is the One who gets me through the day. At times I dont understand the love that He has for me, but I choose to accept and embrace it. His love never fails. No one will ever convince me otherwise.”
