Thoughts of a Transforming Teen
I know what it is like to be lying on your bed thinking there is no way out. I know what it is like to be on your knees feeling like nothing will ever get better, but I am here to tell you there is calm after the storm. It may not be soon, but I promise it will be something worth waiting for. All my life I have struggled with anything imaginable, from anxiety to what people thought of me, and honestly those days dragged on forever. Everyday I had to wake up and prepare myself for the day and every night my mind would race with uncontrollable thoughts. In the past year, I’ve realized life isn’t as easy as I thought and I think as humans we forget that this all has a purpose. We weren’t put on this earth to mosey around and just have a good time, we are here to battle in this spiritual warfare and show people that god is all about. For every mountain we have to face of every river we have to cross just remember that this is all to guide us to where we are supposed to be and to complete what god has sent us here for. Then maybe when the storms calm and you begin to see the light you will realize how much stronger you are and all that you are capable of doing. So I encourage you to take up you sword and your spear, climb the mountains you thought were too steep and jump over every hurdle because we all have a purpose here and this will only make us even stronger.
Transforming, Male-16
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose.
